Our training programs are flexible, customer focused and designed to help clients maximise the performance of their vessels. Every hovercraft and boat we sell comes with in-country captain and crew training, provided by our skilled team of training personnel. Training takes place at our state-of-the-art UK facility: The Hovercraft Centre of Excellence in Ryde, Isle of Wight, and in-country during delivery of the vessel.

Our offerings include courses for captains, engineers and operational crew, ranging from basic seamanship to advanced ‘train the trainer’ programs. We also provide specialist training designed to complement our core courses, including sea survival and first aid.

Marine engineering training is available in the UK or in-country, whether you have just taken delivery of your new vessel, or you require refresher training courses for your engineers, Griffon Marine Support will be able to assist.
High quality captain training is the key to operating all vessels safely and effectively. We offer a comprehensive package of captain and crew training courses, which can include specialist training such as sea survival, first aid at sea and a number of Commander's courses. All training can be tailored to meet specific local legislation as required.
A course designed for military and paramilitary organisations to teach them a range of scenario-based operations for hovercraft and boats in the special forces and counter terrorist roles, such as covert operations, and stop board and search.
